Professional High-Speed Printing
CreatBot D400 HS is designed for professional users who need to combine large prints with high productivity. Its reinforced motion system and Klipper-based control are optimized for high printing speeds, while the high-flow hotend supports flow rates of up to 90 mm³/s. This makes it possible to quickly produce large prototypes, jigs, tooling and functional components.
Large Build Volume and Advanced Materials
With a build volume of 420 × 400 × 420 mm in single extrusion, there is plenty of space for larger models and prototypes. In dual extrusion mode, the build volume is 365 × 400 × 420 mm. The D400 HS supports a wide range of filaments, including PLA, ABS, ASA, PETG, PC, nylon and TPU, as well as fiber-reinforced materials such as ABS-CF, PA-CF, PA-GF, PC-CF and PET-CF.
The active build chamber can be heated to 70°C, helping to reduce thermal stresses and the risk of warping when printing with technical materials. The maximum nozzle temperature of 420°C also provides good conditions for materials that require high processing temperatures.
Smart Dual Extrusion
The dual extruders are automatically liftable and equipped with Dual Nozzle Shutter technology. When a nozzle is not in use, it is lifted away and protected by a mechanical shutter, reducing the risk of unwanted material flow between the nozzles. This makes the system well suited for printing with different materials, colors or support materials.
The D400 HS also features automatic switching to the second nozzle if the filament runs out during a print, provided the required conditions are met.
Automatic Calibration and Precision Control
To simplify calibration, the D400 HS uses Eddy Current technology for automatic bed leveling. The contactless system is designed to quickly map the build plate. HD camera-based calibration is also used to set the XY offset between the nozzles, while a separate sensor solution is used for the Z offset.
The automatic bed leveling and various calibration functions reduce the need for manual adjustments and make it easier to maintain a consistent first-layer height across the large build surface.
Heated Build Chamber
The active build chamber can be heated to 70°C and helps provide a more controlled temperature environment during printing. This reduces the risk of thermal stresses and warping, which is particularly important when printing larger models and technical materials.
Filtration and Remote Monitoring
The D400 HS is equipped with an integrated HEPA and activated carbon filter that filters fine particles and reduces VOCs and odors generated during printing. The printer also features a camera for remote monitoring and can be connected via Wi-Fi or LAN for control and file transfer.
A 7-inch touchscreen provides access to functions including temperature monitoring, preheating, axis control, filament management, calibration and print settings.
