Prusa MINI Gehäuse

The Original Prusa MINI Enclosure makes printing with certain materials easier and offers a host of other benefits. The enclosure can be equipped with useful upgrades for enhanced safety and ease of use, such as the Advanced Filtration System (HEPA filter, 99.9% efficiency), which helps reduce odors from certain materials and prevent the release of ultrafine particles (UFPs) into the air. You can also install an LED strip to illuminate the print area, a mechanical lock to secure the printer in public spaces, a fire suppression system, and various free upgrades available for download from Printables.com.

Everything is included in the package, including the plastic parts, so you don't need to print anything yourself. The only exception is the orange handles (visible in some photos). A 3D printer is not included.

Printing with demanding materials

The enclosure creates a stable printing environment with elevated temperatures and protects the printer from drafts and cold air blasts. This is ideal for printing demanding, high-temperature materials that would otherwise warp easily—such as PC Blend, Nylon, PP, and others. It also prevents dust buildup on moving parts, helping to keep the printer running smoothly and reducing the frequency of required maintenance.

Install an optional lock to prevent unauthorized access to your 3D printer—an ideal solution for schools, makerspaces, and other public spaces. An optional filtration system (HEPA filter, 99.9% efficiency) prevents the spread of ultrafine particles (UFP) and reduces odors when printing with certain materials. The MINI enclosure also reduces printer noise and covers all moving parts, enhancing safety.

High-Quality Components

The frame, top, and bottom panels are made of metal, while the side panels are constructed from PETG plastic. The frame features mounting points for various accessories and neat cable management.
